天才万博2020
BACKSTORY
東京・鶯谷にある東京キネマ倶楽部にて開催された音楽フェスティバル「天才万博」。
既存の劇場空間を読み替え、えんとつ町の音楽劇場として再解釈することで、現実と物語が緩やかに重なり合う空間体験を構成した。
提灯、煙、ネオン、塔状の装置などの要素は世界観を直接説明するためではなく、来場者の感覚にわずかな揺らぎを与え、自ら物語を発見していく状態を生み出すために配置されている。
会場は一夜限りのイベント空間でありながら、撮影され拡散されることで次の物語へと接続されるメディアとして設計され、建築を固定された形ではなく、体験によって更新され続ける環境として提示した。
An annual music festival held at Tokyo Kinema Club in Uguisudani, Tokyo.
Kusanomakura reinterpreted the historic theatre as the Music Theatre of Chimney Town, transforming an existing urban venue into an environment where reality and narrative subtly overlap.
Lanterns, smoke, neon lighting and tower-like structures were introduced not to illustrate a fictional world, but to create slight perceptual shifts through which visitors could discover the story themselves.
While temporary in nature, the venue was conceived as a spatial medium extending beyond the event itself, allowing photographed experiences to circulate and evolve into future narratives. Architecture here is presented not as a fixed object, but as an environment continuously redefined through experience.
